Euro coin set - 2019

This is the first of three sets of the series of Cyprus euro coin sets dedicated to the national side of the Cyprus euro coins. 　

The first set is dedicated to the cross-shaped sculpture (idol) of Pomos (3000 B.C.) from the Chalcolithic period. This idol is depicted on the national side of the €1 and €2 Cyprus coins and is a characteristic example of Cyprus prehistoric art. Other idols from prehistoric art in Cyprus are also depicted on the set reflecting the civilisation of Cyprus, a country with a histoty of over 10.000 years.
