Advisory Group on Market Infrastructures for Payments - National Stakeholder Group

AMI-Pay

The Advisory Group on Market Infrastructures for Payments (AMI-Pay) assists the Eurosystem in promoting the smooth operation of financial market infrastructures by facilitating an active dialogue with market participants.  According to its mandate, AMI-Pay aims at facilitating an active dialogue with market participants and financial market infrastructures in order to support financial market integration in the field of payments and to provide advice to the Eurosystem on financial market infrastructures managed by the Eurosystem, including its related projects.

The Eurosystem approved in October 2017 the mandate of the AMI-SeCo National Stakeholder Groups (AMI-SeCo NSGs), to support the AMI-Pay in fulfilling its roles and responsibilities and provide input from national markets.  These groups act as a link between each national market and AMI-Pay.

National Stakeholder Group (AMI-Pay CY-NSG)

In this context, the national stakeholder group AMI-Pay CY-NSG has been set-up, providing a formal link between AMI-Pay and the Cypriot market in the field of payments, as well as in the field of payment systems managed by the Eurosystem.  AMI-Pay CY-NSG is chaired by the Central Bank of Cyprus and it comprises of various stakeholders from the Cypriot financial market in the field of payments, including experts on T2 matters.  It aims to represent the interest of various stakeholders in the Cypriot market to the AMI-Pay and to provide input from the latter to the AMI-Pay in relation to matters that concern it.
