The Reporting Instructions were issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus to all Investment Funds resident in Cyprus. These were issued in accordance with the provisions of Regulation ECB/2024/17 issued by the European Central Bank on 27 June 2024, concerning statistics on investment funds. They also take into account Guideline ECB/2024/27 issued on 10 October 2024, on statistical information to be reported on financial intermediaries other than monetary financial institutions.
The aim of these instructions are to prescribe the format and content of the statistical returns which Investment Funds are required to submit to the Central Bank of Cyprus.
It should be noted that Investment Funds shall submit information to the Central Bank of Cyprus in the context of the “Securities Holdings Statistics survey” (SHS) and the “Investment Funds survey” (IFS).
