The Reporting Instructions were issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus to all MFIs licensed to operate in Cyprus in accordance with the provisions of Regulation ECB/2013/34 issued by the European Central Bank on 24 September 2013 concerning statistics on interest rates applied by Monetary Financial Institutions to deposits and loans vis-à-vis households and non-financial corporations, which replaced Regulation ECB/2001/18.
The aim of the Reporting Instructions are to prescribe the format and content of the Interest Rates Statistics Returns which MFIs are required to submit to the Central Bank of Cyprus.
