The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) is responsible for the supervision of Electronic Money Institutions (ELMI) in order to ensure the smooth functioning of the financial system as a whole.
Each authorised ELMI must inform the CBC of any changes related to the information provided with their original application.
Furthermore, all ELMIs that provide electronic money services in the Republic of Cyprus submit statistical data to the CBC as required.
