TARGET2-CY

TARGET2-CY is the component system of TARGET2 which provides real-time gross settlement for payments in euro, with settlement in central bank money. The Central Bank of Cyprus operates the TARGET2-CY according to the Directive of the Central Bank of Cyprus on TARGET2-CY System of 2018, as amended from time to time. The relevant Directive has been issued in accordance with the provisions of article 20(3)(b) and article 48(2) of the Central Bank of Cyprus laws of 2002 to 2017, as amended from time to time.
