The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) wishes to clarify that the announcement issued by the Board of Directors of the CBC a while ago, has been released without the approval of the Governor of the CBC, Panicos Demetriades and therefore cannot be considered as an official statement of the CBC, nor does it express its positions.
