The Central Bank of Cyprus has been informed by the Board of the Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC) of Latvia that on 22.01.2016 it decided to impose restrictions on the activities of the joint stock company "TRASTA KOMERCBANKA", forbidding it from performing debit transactions in any currency, including through online banking, ATMs and by cash, with clients in the amount that exceeds 100 000 euro per depositor.
This decision applies also to the Cyprus branch of Trasta Kommercbanka whose customers are informed accordingly.
Restrictions on the activities of JSC "TRASTA KOMERCBANKA", including its Cyprus branch, remain effective until any further decision by the FCMC.
