The Central Bank of Cyprus today releases the MFIs loans and deposits statistics for the reference month of October 2015, which are included in the November 2015 edition of Monetary and Financial Statistics.
Total deposits in October 2015 exhibited a net increase of €287,9 million, compared with a net increase of €255,6 million in September 2015. The annual growth rate stood at 0,4%, compared with -0,7% in September 2015. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €47,1 billion in October 2015.
Total loans in October 2015 exhibited a net decrease of €114,7 million, compared with a net decrease of €230,4 million in September 2015. The annual growth rate stood at -2,4%, compared with -2,6% in September 2015. The outstanding amount of loans reached €61,1 billion in October 2015.
