Following the Central Bank of Cyprus’ (CBC) press release, dated 11 September 2015, the Board of Directors of the CBC, at its meeting held on 12 November 2015, approved the Bank’s new organisational structure.
The new structure was based on the recommendations made by the CBC’s external consultants, Roland Berger Gmbh, as well as the Project Management Office for the Reorganisation of the CBC.
Due to the need for the implementation of a number of recommendations put forward by the consultants, considered to be a prerequisite for a fully-fledged structure, the said structure will become effective in February 2016.
In order to facilitate the implementation of the aforementioned recommendations and to represent them in the new structure, the following transitional arrangements will apply, as of 24 November 2015:
Senior Directors Mr. Constantinos Papadopoulos and Ms Photini Frank, head the following departments:
(a) Senior Director: Photini Frank
(b) Senior Director: Constantinos Papadopoulos
Acting Senior Directors, Messrs Kyriacos Stavrou and Yiangos Demetriou head the following departments:
(c) Acting Senior Director: Kyriacos Stavrou
Mr Stavrou performs, in addition, duties as Head of the Governor’s Office & Communication
(d) Acting Senior Director: Yiangos Demetriou
