The Central Bank of Cyprus has today released the MFIs loans and deposits statistics for the reference month of May 2013, which are included in the June 2013 edition of Monetary and Financial Statistics.
The data for loans and deposits for May 2013 do not yet reflect the provisions of the “Sale of Certain Operations of Cyprus Popular Bank Public Co Ltd Decree of 2013”, which was implemented on the 19th of May. The above statistical treatment for loans and deposits was implemented in consultation with the European Central Bank.
