The Central Bank of Cyprus has today released the MFIs loans and deposits statistics for the reference month of July 2013, which are included in the August 2013 edition of Monetary and Financial Statistics. It should be noted that the data for the reference month of July 2013 do not yet reflect the conversion of a 10% of unsecured deposits of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Limited into equity, stipulated in the “Bailing-in of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Limited Decree of 2013” (as amended on the 30th of July). The conversion was effected in August 2013.
