The Central Bank of Cyprus today releases the MFIs loans and deposits statistics for the reference month of March 2015, which are included in the April 2015 edition of Monetary and Financial Statistics.
Total deposits in March 2015 exhibited a net decrease of €130,2 million, as compared with a net decrease of €163,4 million in February 2015. The annual growth rate stood at -3,6%, as compared with -3,8% in February 2015. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €46,8 billion in March 2015.
Total loans in March 2015 exhibited a net decrease of €878,7 million, as compared with a net decrease of €207,2 million in February 2015. The annual growth rate stood at -2,0%, as compared with -1,2% in February 2015. The outstanding amount of loans reached €64,2 billion in March 2015.
