The Central Bank of Cyprus today releases the MFIs loans and deposits statistics for the reference month of April 2015, which are included in the May 2015 edition of Monetary and Financial Statistics.
Total deposits in April 2015 exhibited a net decrease of €59,1 million, as compared with a net decrease of €130,2 million in March 2015. The annual growth rate stood at -4,3%, as compared with -3,6% in March 2015. The outstanding amount of deposits reached €46,4 billion in April 2015.
Total loans in April 2015 exhibited a net decrease of €244,7 million, as compared with a net decrease of €878,7 million in March 2015. The annual growth rate stood at -2,1%, as compared with -2,0% in March 2015. The outstanding amount of loans reached €63,5 billion in April 2015.
