The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) initiates today the release of the quarterly publication Quarterly Financial Accounts (QFA), which provides aggregated data on the financial assets and liabilities by economic sector, as from the reference quarter of December 2012. The QFAs are compiled by the Statistics Department of the CBC in accordance with the Guideline of the European Central Bank ECB/2013/24 and the European System of Accounts (ESA2010).
The publication comprises tables exhibiting aggregated financial assets and liabilities for each one of the following sectors:
1. Domestic Economy (all resident sectors)
2. Non financial corporations
3. Monetary financial institutions
4. Investment funds
5. Other financial institutions
6. Insurance corporations
7. Pension funds
8. General government
9. Households and non profit institutions
10. Rest of the world
