The Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Cyprus has released the external data statistics (balance of payments, international investment position and external debt) for fourth quarter of 2015 as well as the revised statistics for the first three quarters of 2015.
Αccording to the latest provisional balance of payments data for 2015, the current account recorded a deficit of €634,2 million compared with a deficit of €791,5 million in 2014.
The international investment position of Cyprus in 2015, has improved, reaching a net liability position of €22.507,0 million compared with €24.468,1 million in 2014. The external debt of Cyprus amounted to €102.488,0 million in 2015 compared with €97.327,3 million in 2014.
