The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 8 May 2003 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £205,0 million were submitted and an amount of £150,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,39%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,37% and 3,50%, respectively.
