The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 11 May 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £536,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £280,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,35%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,33% and 2,35%, respectively.
