Τhe Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 11 August 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £122,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £80,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,69%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,65% and 2,72%, respectively.
