The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 12 August 2004 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £182,5 million, were submitted and an amount of £180,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,37%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,32% and 4,43%, respectively.
