The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 13 October 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £290,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £200,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,22%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,58% and 3,25%, respectively.
