The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 13 April 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £366,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £140,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,39%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,38% and 2,41%, respectively.
