The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 15 January 2004 for the acceptance of deposits of 6-day duration, bids amounting to £263,5 million were submitted and an amount of £200,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,37%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,27% and 3,44%, respectively.
