The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 15 July 2004 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £79,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £79,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,34%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,32% and 4,47%, respectively.
