The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 16 February 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £477,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £300,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,71%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,32% and 3,25%, respectively.
