The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 16 March 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £508,5 million were submitted, and an amount of £280,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,69%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,46% and 3,00%, respectively.
