The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 17 February 2005 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £82,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £50,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,95%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,84% and 3,99%, respectively.
