The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 17 February 2005 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £100,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £70,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,14%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,13% and 4,16%, respectively.
