The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 19 January 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £604,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £380,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,41%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,39% and 2,43%, respectively.
