The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 19 May 2005 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £164,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £120,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,65%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,62% and 3,73%, respectively.
