The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 21 December 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £1.034,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £600,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,76%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,65% and 3,80%, respectively.
