The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 22 January 2004 for the acceptance of deposits of 7-day duration, bids amounting to £169,8 million were submitted and an amount of £169,8 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,31%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,24% and 3,43%, respectively.
