The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 22 December 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £455,5 million were submitted, and an amount of £300,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,54%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,43% and 3,25%, respectively.
