The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 23 September 2004 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £121,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £80,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,17%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,14% and 4,19%, respectively.
