The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 25 May 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £691,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £320,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,32%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,26% and 2,33%, respectively.
