The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 25 August 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 7-day duration, bids amounting to £209,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £140,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,73%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,61% and 3,24%, respectively.
