The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 2 June 2005 for the acceptance of deposits, of 7-day duration, bids amounting to £223,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £140,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,23%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,00% and 3,74%, respectively.
