The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 27 August 2003 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £182,0 million were submitted and an amount of £160,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,34%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,20% and 3,50%, respectively.
