The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 27 April 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £434,5 million were submitted, and an amount of £220,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,36%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,34% and 2,37%, respectively.
