The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 29 July 2004 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £122,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £100,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,39%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,33% and 4,43%, respectively.
