The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 29 September 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £303,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £180,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,53%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,52% and 2,55%, respectively.
