The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 4 December 2003 for the acceptance of deposits of 7-day duration, bids amounting to £128,0 million were submitted and an amount of £70,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,11%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,09% and 3,14%, respectively.
