The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 5 May 2005 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £101,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £50,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,84%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,83% and 3,85%, respectively.
