The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 7 October 2004 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £146,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £120,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,21%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,09% and 4,29%, respectively.
