The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 8 December 2005 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £411,0 million were submitted, and an amount of £200,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,48%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,48% and 2,49%, respectively.
