The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction conducted on 8 June 2006 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £627,5 million were submitted, and an amount of £400,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 2,31%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 2,29% and 2,32%, respectively.
