The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 8 July 2004 for the acceptance of deposits, of 7-day duration, bids amounting to £125,5 million, were submitted and an amount of £70,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,45%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,44% and 4,46%, respectively.
