The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 9 October 2003 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £167,0 million were submitted and an amount of £130,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 3,47%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 3,40% and 3,50%, respectively.
