The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 9 September 2004 for the acceptance of deposits, of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £256,0 million, were submitted and an amount of £200,0 million was absorbed at a weighted average allotment rate of 4,28%. The minimum and maximum allotment rates were 4,24% and 4,48%, respectively.
