The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that during the auction on 13 March 2003 for the acceptance of deposits of 14-day duration, bids amounting to £135,0 million were submitted and an amount of £135,0 million was absorbed at an average interest rate of 3,70%. The lowest and highest interest rates of the accepted bids were 3,67% and 3,75%, respectively.
